Break off a piece for melts or place a pebble in your burner receptacle. To stay within the same natural product range, we recommend using our soy wax tealights.
Once the fondant is finished and before the rest of the fondant hardens completely, clean the receptacle with a paper towel or cloth. Be careful not to burn yourself; wait a moment after the burning has stopped.
All scented melts and pebbles are accompanied by a CLP label indicating the composition, according to the explanations that you will find under the point "Regulations, page → product information".
1. Cut a piece of your fondant plate or place a pebble in your burner cup
2. Once lit, your burner should not be left unattended and lit for more than 4 hours.
3. Place your burner out of reach of children and animals and away from drafts.
4. In case of an allergic skin reaction when in contact with a scented wax melt, rinse thoroughly with water, keep the CLP label and, if necessary, consult a doctor.

Ignition:
Use a match to light the sage bundle, which will have been previously placed in a heat-resistant container.
Ritual:
Before purifying, close the windows and stand at the entrance to your home.
Light one end of your bouquet using a match or lighter to ignite.
Let it burn for a few seconds, then gently shake the flame to create an ember. Hold the bouquet over a heat-resistant container to collect the ashes.
Purify Each Room: Move the bouquet to each room of the house, guiding the smoke into all rooms for complete purification.
Certain key moments are particularly conducive to this approach:
New move: Clean up your new home to start fresh and make the space your own.
Heavy Atmosphere: When the atmosphere in your home feels heavy or oppressive, cleansing can help lighten the mood.
Off:
If you wish to extinguish your stick while it is burning, simply smother it with sand or coarse salt, crush it in its ashes (to reuse it) or pass the end directly under water (if it is finished).
Once the purification is complete, take a moment of gratitude then open the windows for at least 10 minutes to air the area and allow the bad energies to escape.
When you receive your stone, it is already charged with the energy of the people who handled it. The first thing to do is to cleanse it of the (potentially negative) energies it has accumulated, then recharge it . These steps should be systematic when you acquire a new stone or crystal.
PURIFICATION
There are several ways to purify your stones (water, salt, burial in the ground, flower of life, Tibetan bowl, fumigation).
Depending on the porosity and mineral composition of your stone, some purification methods may not be suitable. Below are some explanations of the most commonly used methods. If in doubt, contact us!
WATER: This is the simplest method to implement. Run your stone under running water or in demineralized water. Once cleaned, wipe it carefully with a soft cloth.
Not suitable for certain stones such as:
- Hematite (ferrous)
- Malachite (coppery)
- Lapis Lazuli (porous)
- Turquoise (porous)
- Selenite (soluble)
- Pyrite (ferrous)
- Azurite (suitable for alternating with another method / may show micro cracks due to wear in contact with water)
BY SMOKING: Burn dried sage leaves or Palo Santo wood, then place the smoky element in a water-resistant bowl. Pass your stone through the smoke emanating from this natural element. This purification is gentle and is best used for stones that have not been charged with too much negative energy.
Not suitable for some milky white colored stones, such as:
- Rock crystal
- Moonstone
IN SALT: Place your stone in a pile of sea salt / coarse salt, for a complete and total purification, allow 12 hours. Some people create a bond with their stone, it is important to know that the salt method tends to erase everything.
Not suitable for certain stones such as:
- Amazonite
- Fluorite
- Hematite
- Lapis Lazuli
- Malachite
- Howlite
- Moonstone
- Sun Stone
- Rhodochrosite
- African turquoise
- Arizona Turquoise
- Pink opal
If it is important for you to use this method with one of these stones, it is possible to consider doing it like the bain-marie (indirect purification). With a large bowl containing the salt and a small glass bowl in the center with the stone, which will avoid direct contact with the salt.
RECHARGE
Once your stones are purified, you can proceed to recharge them. There are several charging methods. Below are some explanations of the most popular methods. If in doubt, contact us!
FULL MOON: This is certainly the most appreciated and known method by lithotherapy enthusiasts. The full moon meets us every 29 days, the strong energy emanating from this celestial phenomenon allows you to effectively recharge your stones and crystals. Place your stones outside on a table or your windowsill, then leave it overnight, even if the moon is not visible! Be careful not to use this recharging method in case of frost or rain.
The disadvantage of this method is that you cannot do it according to your needs, but according to the Lunar calendar.
SUN: The solar charging method requires you to match the charging needs of your stones with sunny days. Favor the rising or setting sun , as the rays are less gentle. Solar charging is suitable for most stones except for light stones which risk being irreversibly discolored. For certain stones such as amethyst or rose quartz, it is preferable to expose them to moonlight. If you have a light stone that you feel needs to be exposed to the sun, cover it with a white veil to prevent any discoloration.
Not suitable for certain stones such as:
- Amethyst
- Quartz
- Moonstone
- Fluorite
- Sodalite
- Lapis Lazuli
AMETHYST GEODE: For your purple or purple-blue colored stones. Place your stone on the geode for a few hours or half a day.
QUARTZ CLUSTER: Place your stone in a crystal cluster such as a Rock Crystal geode, which is a powerful and natural energy amplifier. Thanks to its neutrality, Rock Crystal allows positive and dynamic energies to circulate.
FLOWER OF LIFE: This geometric figure, composed of several circles of the same size connected center-to-center, represents waves of geometrically balanced shapes whose micro-vibrations are beneficial. Simply place your stone in the center for 2-3 hours.
The frequency depends on the use of your stones:
If you use your stones for lithotherapy or meditation sessions, it is advisable to do so after each use .
If you wear your stones daily for support or protection, it will be advisable to do so weekly .
For protective stones in your home, it is advisable to do this monthly .
SPECIAL CASE
Shungite is a stone that does not require recharging: its molecular characteristics mean it does not need recharging. Simply purify it to remove negative energy.
We apply a natural, water-repellent top coat to each creation.
Each Smell of Happiness creation is meticulously handmade, making each piece unique.
It is advisable not to melt highly tinted candles (red, purple, etc.) directly on your Jesmonite receptacle, as this could stain it.
